KEPCO (President Cho Hwan-ik) and Incell (CEO Jung Chang-kwon), which specializes in telecommunication ESS and industrial UPS battery systems, will export ESS (power storage system) worth 270 billion won to the European market. The two companies signed a 270 billion won agreement with Sweden's INCELL International AB at KEPCO Art Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul on the 27th.Incell, a small business that specializes in ESS and UPS, is expected to make progress in overseas markets based on its participation in R&D and demonstration projects by the government and KEPCO, which started developing intelligent storage electricity in 2008, followed by a project to supply Smart Grid in 2012 and establish ESS for 24MW FR last year. Sweden's INCELL International AB is a company that sells products produced by Incel to the European market, and the Swedish ambassador was also present at the signing ceremony.
